The exhibition, curate by French academic Marina Ferretti Bocquillon, focuses on the figures of Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, presenting a selection of their outstanding works, from some of the most important museums in the world (including the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and the Metropolitan and Guggenheim Museums in New York). It is an opportunity for the public to discover these two artists, the roles they played respectively, and the fundamental contribution they made to the birth and development of Neo-Impressionism, which spread rapidly above all in France and Belgium, from the end of 19th century to 1910.

The exhibition will seek to use both traditional and innovative media through which to present the full range of the work of this exceptional architect and his legacy. It will place Palladio within his contemporary historical context and will explore aspects of Palladio’s work which have not been adequately presented before. It will include an extensive selection of original drawings, as well as relevant paintings, medals and coins, architectural fragments, sculpture and books and manuscripts. This material will be complemented by large-scale architectural models, video and interactive computer animation. The exhibition will present to the public a rounded, engaging and essentially new synthesis of what is known about Palladio’s life, architecture and influence.

A journey towards festivity and flavor, this is the essence of the Cous Cous Fest. The event built around a ‘dish for peace’ which unites the differences and charm of the Mediterranean people. Held in San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani, the Cous Cous Fest is dedicated to North African gastronomy. Along with a range of couscous dishes, it features a rich entertaining program, including fusion and global music concerts, wine tasting and workshops. The Cous Cous Fest is also at the forefront of the cultural scene. Couscous is a 3000-year-old food originally from North Africa. Today it is cooked throughout the world normally with fresh fish or vegetables but the varieties are endless.
